The Scoop Chair is our contemporary interpretation of Jorge Zalszupin’s iconic 1970s Cubo Chair. Inspired by boldness and hard lines, the Cubo Chair, which translates to ‘cube’, served as the foundational principle for our design. The seat, with its round curves, seemingly emerges from the cube, creating a striking visual contrast. Supported by a black ebonized plywood base that gracefully falls back under the seat, the bottom of the chair appears to float, casting captivating shadows and adding depth to its design.
